2020 CADILLAC CT4
Overview
The Cadillac CT4 is new to the lineup, replacing the ATS as the automakers' entry-level sedan. It may be entry-level, as Cadillac's smallest sedan, but it is anything but basic. The CT4 has plenty of power and enough luxury to please most drivers on the daily commute, or on a long road trip. The CT4 is available in Luxury, Sport and Premium Luxury trims. There is also the CT4-V, part of the V-family of performance vehicles that are essentially street-legal race cars. For most people, the CT4 will be more than enough as it is engineered for agility and with its latest technology, it aims to further the sheer pleasure of driving.
The Perfect Ride For...
People who want a fun car to drive, and still want luxury, will love the CT4. It is a relatively small sedan but could be a small family car. People who drive a lot will appreciate the technology that helps provide a smooth ride and gives you enough sport to make driving fun again. This is a new model with eight interior and exterior color combinations available. It has an athletic stance and the precision steering will make you think you are in a sports car. Add to that an intuitive infotainment center, and you have maximum performance with ease of use. There are so many options it will easily match your preferences for driving no matter what they are. The small sedan is a dying breed perhaps, but the CT4 could bring back the love of the American car on the open road.
Drive and Handling
The base engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that’s capable of up to 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet torque. A 2.7-liter four-cylinder is available and puts out 309 horses and 348 pound-feet of torque. For even more performance, the CT4-V has an incredible V6 that offers 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The CT4 comes with an eight-speed transmission while the V model gets a 10-speed. Brembo® brakes, four-piston calipers, and a limited-slip rear differential are available. All-wheel drive is optional on all trim levels. Inside there are leatherette seats, active noise cancellations, and interior LED lighting. Automatic climate control is also available.

Technology
The CT4 offers a tablet-like eight-inch touchscreen infotainment center, which is a nice improvement over the one in the ATS. It is user-friendly and can create the type of driving environment you want with ease. There is also an 8-inch configurable display behind the steering wheel to monitor your car's health. Cadillac also offers a digital platform that will automatically update your technology as it develops. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are available, as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a premium sound system. Wireless charging is also available for your devices. It has a rearview camera and mirror that displays a real-time video of the surroundings of the back of the car.
Safety
Cadillac is as dedicated to safety as it is to luxurious trims, so many features you’d have to pay more for from other automakers can be found as a standard on the 2020 CT4. Forward Collision Alert is watching the road ahead and can alert you when a collision is imminent. Front Pedestrian Braking can detect when a pedestrian is in your path and can hit the brakes for you if you don’t react in time. Available Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert is watching out where you can’t see. If it detects a vehicle in your blind spot, it will give you a side mirror alert. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam are also available.
